Batman #20 - December-January 1943-1944 - this classic Golden Age DC comic features the first Batmobile cover with art by Dick Sprang! This issue has four Batman stories, one of which pits Batman and Robin against the Joker in "The Centuries of Crime!" with art by Jerry Robinson!
Comic is in apparent Very Fine to Near Mint condition with extensive professional restoration. Covers have been restored, rebuilt, recolored and numerous tears sealed. Staples have been either cleaned and replaced or replaced altogether with clean vintage staples. Interior paper has been lightened and deacidified and is a beautiful off-white to white. I don't know who performed the restoration, but it is of exceptionally high quality, and book presents itself remarkably well. Unrestored VF/NM 9.0 for this book is currently $3178!
